Gibson Les Paul Special P-90 Limited Edition Electric Guitar Honey Burst Review

  • Some fraudsters have compromised TGP accounts have in the past few days. They have scammed members in the Emporiums by creating ads with stolen photos and requesting Paypal F&F or Venmo exclusively for payment.

We take these issues seriously. Nosotros've made security changes that I don't desire to detail here to end them. Yet, the best way to prevent this is for members to practice proper password hygiene (which I'll particular below), plow on two-factor hallmark, and -- I implore every unmarried person here -- only use payment methods that have heir-apparent protection. Unfortunately, we cannot control how members do deals. It is heartbreaking to meet that the lure of saving some money will still fool people into using those methods to relieve a few dollars. In today'southward world, that is false confidence yous tin no longer afford.

Every account that I've restored so far to the original possessor was using compromised passwords. Talking to one member equally I am working through getting his account dorsum in society, he informed me that his Apple password manager had been compromised and made available on the dark web.

None of the accounts compromised were using two-factor hallmark.

We have forced electronic mail revalidation for all members that accept not signed on for a while. We highly recommend every member reading this modify their passwords as a precaution. We want to highly recommend that members turn on and use TGP's two-factor authentication option.

We have opened a discussion thread in the Pub section discussing this.We volition include a very detailed countersign checklist.

Anyone have experience with the 2019 gibson les paul special p-90 limited edition? Would honey a guitar with P90s and since GC has them on auction right now I am looking at possibly purchasing one. But reviews seem to be few and far between. Whatever input would be greatly appreciated.

I bought this one on sale at GC in Feb. Information technology's a really nice guitar. viii.0 lbs even, the cervix is not skinny at all, but not a baseball bat either. The pickups sound great - clean or dirty. Fit and finish were impeccable. I think it'southward a helluva guitar for the money.

I have i, saw it had a belly cut at GC and had to walk out with it. Neck pickup is quite dark, but bridge pickup totally snarls. Planning on mayhap getting kinman'south eventually, bridge pickup can be noisier than single coils due north some places.

I'm honestly pretty disappointed none of the new gibson modern collection has belly cuts

anyone have experience with his Kinman p90 hx'south?

I have the 2010 version in vintage carmine and it looks, plays, and sounds great. I of my fave axes.
I had to modify the pups to Mojotone P-90 Quiet Coils due to the lead singer of ane of my bands being extremely hum-averse, only they sound pretty close, they accept a rawness to them that my Fralin noiseless P-90s don't seem to have. I kinda similar the Mojotones a little better in there.

Just an update. Went to my local GC had a wait at the merely single cutting they had there. Terribly disappointed in the cease, but to make matters worse in that location was a scissure in the nut. Pointed it out to one employee and they said it'southward just the finish even though the nut was visibly outset at the crevice. After a while a different employee came over started talking and I pointed out the crack and at least he agreed that it indeed was cracked. But and so went on to say that it's alright its staying in melody and the intonation is expert. Needless to say I did non walk out with that guitar. I as well played the new 2019 DC with P90s and it was a pretty awesome guitar pretty dark sounding. The satin finish was nice. In the end I walked out with a totally different brand guitar as it just spoke to me.

Fender Classic Player Baja. Funny, because I have never liked teles only from a corrective point of view and my impression was that it was a strictly a country guitar. I know both assumptions are stupid and unfounded at present. But when I picked this matter upwards I was completely amazed at how it felt in my easily. Then I plugged it in and was amazed at the tones that this affair was able to produce.

And then...what guitar did you get? :)

Well, I bought one of those 2019 Les Paul Special P-xc Honeyburst models from Guitar Heart... the Limited Edition ones. A fair price at $799... But should've known better.

I had it shipped to a GC outside of Boston. So I become there tonight to pick it upwardly and the guy comes out with what does not look like a Gibson shipping box. Me thinks "here we become..." and we did. I pull the guitar out of this random box and of course it's the old crap Gibson gig purse, not the newer costly dark-brown ones (which are awesome) simply I was sort of OK with information technology, because I understand that they originally shipped with the crap ones and so I thought this would exist a low serial number.

I pull the guitar out and information technology's got finger smudges all over it. The guitar is actually viscous in places.

Flip over to see the back and the serial number is a later 2019, so now I'm fifty-fifty more suspicious. So I'one thousand not happy. Then I wait in the handbag pouch and the inspection card series doesn't match the guitar.

I've got nothing against the Guitar Heart guys almost me, they're all actually actually absurd people, but I recall I'm officially washed with GC. Anyway, I got a refund, saturday in traffic a bit longer and that's that.

I think I'g buying a Reverend 390.

Anyone else become one of these when they were out in that location? I did and am very pleased with how it sounds. Oasis't had the take a chance to play information technology in band state of affairs still because, well we all know that one, but on it'south own it has a very prissy warm, clear tone. The neck is dandy and the finish (except where I chipped it on the case) is fine and quite enjoyable to expect at.

This is the Les Paul Special model that made me autumn in love with them. I should've bought one when they were $800, because at present they're $1200!

Simply they're sweet guitars for certain
